There are rare places where it feels natural to pause, to breathe more deeply, and to truly connect. Feathered Pipe Ranch, nestled high in the Northern Rockies, is such a place. With its fresh mountain air, nourishing meals prepared daily, and wide-open landscapes, the Ranch invites us to slow down, soften, and discover a quieter rhythm of living.
The Yoga Sanctuary’s week-long retreat is an invitation to step away from the noise and into a community of practice. Together we’ll share space that encourages meaningful connection—space to go beyond the surface level, to listen deeply, and to be fully present with yourself and others.
What to Expect
Each morning begins in silence with meditation and gentle movement. From there, our shared days unfold naturally—with yoga practices spaced throughout the day, each focusing on asana, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy. Short talks and discussions will offer reflections on yoga beyond the mat, while daily journal prompts inspired by poetry and yogic teachings will encourage inner exploration.
Afternoons are for you to enjoy—walk a forest trail, paddle across the lake, rest in a hammock with a book, or simply enjoy the mountain stillness. The hot tub, sauna, and massage offerings provide even more ways to unwind. Evenings close with a quieter practice, gently guiding you toward rest.
Accommodation at the Ranch
Your home for the week will be one of Feathered Pipe’s thoughtfully designed spaces—ranging from cozy lodge rooms to yurts, cabins, and tents tucked into the forest. Each space is simple, peaceful, and connected to the natural beauty of the Ranch, offering a restful environment for reflection and renewal.
Food at the Ranch
Meals at the Ranch are more than nourishment—they are a highlight of each day. Fresh, wholesome, and prepared daily with care, the food is both nourishing and satisfying. Many ingredients are locally sourced, and meals reflect a balance of health and flavor. Whether shared in the dining room or outside beneath the Montana sky, mealtimes are a celebration of community.
Yoga at the Ranch
Our shared practice will be the heart of the retreat, with four daily sessions—ranging from 30 to 90 minutes—woven with asana, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy. All-level classes are designed to quiet the mind, open the heart, and support both inner reflection and physical vitality. Short talks, discussions, and daily journal prompts will encourage exploration beyond the mat, creating a living connection between practice and life.
