When we show up to our yoga mats, it is easy to feel the profound benefits from our practice. The more challenging task is to carry the insights gained on the mat with us into our hurried lives.
So often the rigor of our day to day schedules leaves us with little time to reflect on how we are spending our precious energy. For many of us it is hard to create space for this reflection but the clarity it brings is immeasurable.
On this retreat, set amidst Montana’s majestic Rocky mountains, we will practice daily vinyasa yoga, meditation, inquiry, and mindful living. Join natural foods chef, vibrant vinyasa yoga and mindful meditation teacher, and consummate student of life Lauren Lewis for an exploration of what it truly means “be here now.” When we carve out space to engage in the present moment we can awaken to a deeper knowing, our intuition — that which can guide us toward a more peaceful and attentive state of being.
Daily Schedule:
7:45-9:15am — Morning session (mediation/vinyasa yoga)
9:30am — Breakfast
10:30am-1pm — Hiking, massage and bodywork, standup paddleboarding or workshop time
1pm — Lunch
4-6pm — Afternoon session (group workshop/yin or vinyasa yoga)
6:30pm — Dinner
7:45pm — Bonfire, kick back and be time
Let’s gather together on Feathered Pipe’s sacred ground, slow down and compassionately take inventory in the spirit of re-orienting toward true health — body, mind and spirit
*Please Note: Lauren Lewis is teaching an additional, 5-night retreat, 7 – 12 June. If interested, investigate further here.
WHAT LAUREN’S STUDENTS & RETREAT ATTENDEES SAY:
“Lauren Lewis’ retreat at the Feathered Pipe Ranch was, without question, the most transformative yoga retreat I’ve ever experienced.
Arriving without knowing anyone, I felt somewhat nervous. But from the moment I began corresponding with Lauren, I sensed this would be something truly special.
Both Lauren and Lisa radiate warmth, inclusivity, and joy. Their presence alone created a sense of belonging.
The curriculum was nothing short of extraordinary. Morning classes on the nature deck felt like poetry in motion. Each practice was thoughtfully themed and guided by Lauren with intention and grace. Lisa’s yin sessions were deeply nurturing, like being gently wrapped up in a cocoon, with each practice bookended by her soft, soul-stirring mantras. The supplemental sessions (storytelling, journaling, fitness classes, live music, group circles, bodywork, etc.) brought their own unique magic, enriching the retreat in powerful and unexpected ways.
And the ranch … where do I even begin? The Feathered Pipe Ranch is truly unforgettable. It has main character energy. It feels like you’re stepping back in time to a simpler place, one that gently invites you to reconnect with what matters most: nature, self, and community. And my yurt exceeded every expectation … a sanctuary of comfort nestled just steps away from the breathtaking wilderness that surrounds you.
And finally, the people. It’s no surprise that Lauren and Lisa attract the most incredible souls. In just six days I formed deep, lasting connections that I’ll carry with me always.
All this to say, if you’re considering a retreat with Lauren and Lisa (literally anywhere or at Feathered Pipe Ranch) run don’t walk. It was an experience that will live in my heart for years to come, and I can’t wait to join them again soon.”
RETREAT TIP! Extend your time in peace and beauty while savoring Western hospitality by spending some time exploring the great West’s National Park treasures either before or after your time with Lauren Lewis at the Feathered Pipe Ranch. Glacier National Park is a glorious and scenic 3.5-hour drive north and west of Feathered Pipe, while Yellowstone is just a 4.5 hour drive south and east of the Ranch through some of the prettiest Western territory you’ll ever see.
ABOUT LAUREN LEWIS:
Lauren’s teachings weave a fabric full of challenging flows, invitations to evolve with kindness, and an understanding that vulnerability is the path to connection. Her approachable and challenging teaching style incorporates her intuition honed from her extensive background as a chef along with her experience in vinyasa’s physical framework, with the fluidity and opportunities for recalibration it provides.
Practitioners can expect classes that help discern where their unique edge is and move toward it with compassion. Lauren embraces the idea that the more we can show up and love ourselves, the more we can get out of our way to shape the world around us positively. Outside of the studio, you can find Lauren hiking, camping, or biking in the mountains with her family or cooking up a storm in her kitchen.
