“I began teaching at the Ranch in the summer of 1975, and I have never grown tired of the energy and love to be found at this very special place. Join me to reconnect to your practice, and to get to know and enjoy the other students who come to “the Pipe” for yoga, community, and fun.”

~ Judith Hanson Lasater

The practice of yoga is actually a re-learning of how to listen to our body in asana, a remembering of how to relish the subtle movement of our breath in pranayama, and a commitment to listen to the silence behind our thoughts during meditation. Then this deep communication with ourselves becomes embodied in our very cells, and spontaneously we feel more at ease, more settled, and more at peace.

Judith Hanson Lasater - Feathered Pipe RanchDuring this week-long retreat we will have a morning Active Practice of asana and a Quiet Practice of Restorative yoga, pranayama, and meditation in the afternoon. Morning classes will begin with a short talk and discussion to set our intention for the day’s practice.

The Feathered Pipe Ranch is a perfect setting for this week of refuge. Stunning views, clean mountain spring water to drink, and delicious meals prepared for us by people who love serving fresh and organic food to help us feel at home and cared for everyday. Everyone on the staff is eager to make our stay as wonderful as we hoped it would be.

It wouldn’t be Judith’s workshop without Friday night’s signature talent show and follies – so remember to bring an instrument, a poem to read, a joke, or a dance to share. We 100 percent guarantee that all acts will be enthusiastically applauded.

AND, for those interested in exploring a little more deeply the Big Sky vibe, a gentle, guided rafting trip down the Missouri River will be offered on Wednesday afternoon-evening. An email will be sent out to all registrants for Judith’s program with details and additional nominal cost. So don’t forget you swimsuit and license to laugh!

*27 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program credit hours are available for this retreat.
