Experience the transformative power of yoga and writing in Reclaim Your Body’s Wisdom, a unique course that invites you to explore the innate wisdom of your body.

Through yoga practices, reflective writing exercises, and moments of stillness, we’ll delve below the surface and tune into our senses to discover our true knowing.

Many of us have complex relationships with our bodies, and this retreat is an opportunity to cultivate a new, more harmonious connection with ourselves. Whether navigating a major life change or simply seeking to honor your body as it is, Reclaim Your Body’s Wisdom will guide you toward a deeper understanding and appreciation of yourself.

A Yoga and Writing Exploration Retreat - De West & Cynthia MorrisIn this retreat, we’ll combine yoga, writing, and creativity to access insights that have been hidden from us for years. With plenty of integration time and a relaxed pace, you can stabilize your understanding and solidify the insights you’ll take home. As a community, we’ll share laughter and lightness throughout, and you’ll have the chance to let your body flow at our dance party!

Join us on this transformative journey towards self-discovery and embrace the wisdom of your body.

By the end of the course, you’ll leave with:

a new language for communicating with your body
a deep awareness of how your senses guide your truth, and
a recognition of yourself on a more authentic level.

Escape the busyness of daily life and reconnect with yourself in the serene Montana Rocky Mountains. Surrounded by the scent of pine trees and refreshing breezes, you’ll savor the delicious organic food the ranch offers and enjoy plenty of solo time.

Meals at the Ranch are delicious, homemade, mostly organic, and locally sourced. Gluten-free and dairy-free options are abundant. Beyond that, the kitchen is skilled with customizing special diets. You can also book a massage with one of the outstanding bodyworkers, relax in the hot tub or sauna, hike a mountain path, or jump in the lake in the warm afternoons. Take a hike through the forest, or simply relax in a hammock as you access a new sacredness of being in your perfectly imperfect body.

Optional evening activities include a meditation circle, fun writing games, Q&A, dance party, evening hikes (weather dependent), restorative yoga, bonfire connection, and stargazing! Some nights will be free as well.

WHAT DE & CYNTHIA’S STUDENTS & RETREAT ATTENDEES SAY:

Somatic Healing Therapy - Trauma Informed Yoga“De West is a gifted healer who has added years to my quality of life. She has a unique gift to teach her clients how to listen to and befriend their bodies. She has helped me develop more strength and flexibility and heal areas of pain or immobility by gently building and expanding my ability to use yoga therapeutically. But her practice is much more than a yoga class—it is about restoring health to mind and body. Whether you have an injury, stress, loss of mobility or just want more well-being, she is the healer to whom to turn. De is the ‘body whisperer.'”

“I just want to say thank you, Cynthia. I had very high expectations for Capture the Paris Wow. Your creativity retreat exceeded them by far! I can honestly say that this has changed my life permanently. I needed this so much more than I even realized.”
