Summer Vacation Tip! Extend your time in peace and beauty while savoring Western hospitality by exploring the great West’s national park treasures either before or after your Feathered Pipe experience with Carie. Glacier National Park is a scenic 3.5 hour drive north and west of the Ranch, while Yellowstone is just a 4.5 hours drive south and east of the Ranch through some of the prettiest Western territory you’ll ever see.

Dr. Jean Shinoda Bolen - Jungian Analyst

Jean Shinoda Bolen, MD is a Jungian analyst, activist, and author. Her most recent book is Artemis: The Indomitable Spirit in Everywoman. She is an internationally known speaker and workshop leader and the author of thirteen influential books. Goddesses in Everywoman, Gods in Everyman, Goddesses in Older Women, and Ring of Power resonate with readers who discover archetypes are powerful patterns in themselves and in Wagner’s Ring Cycle. The Millionth Circle, Urgent Message from Mother, Like A Tree, and Moving Toward the Millionth Circle inspire women to actively make a difference supported in circles with a spiritual center.

In Crossing to Avalon, she wrote of pilgrimage and the quest for the Sacred Feminine. Close to the Bone: Life-Threatening Illness as a Soul Journey is for patients, those who love them, and caregivers. She is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a leading voice in women’s spirituality.

Dr. Bolen is a major advocate of a United Nations 5th World Conference on Women (5WCW)and a former clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of California at San Francisco. She lives in Mill Valley, California in an urban-wilderness interface zone.

Dr. Monika Wikman - Jungian AnalystMonika Wikman, Ph.D. is a Jungian Analyst and author of Pregnant Darkness: Alchemy and the Rebirth of Consciousness and various articles and poems in Jungian psychology journals.  She lectures internationally on mythology and symbolism, dreams, death and wellness, alchemy and creativity.  In private practice as a Jungian Analyst and astrologer, she lives along a creek and under starry skies in Tesuque, New Mexico with horses, dogs, and friends.

Basic Accommodations are shared room Main Lodge, Yurt, Sai Condo or single Tipi/Tent, and include meals and use of all amenities – our bathhouse, sauna, hot tub, as well as all the Feathered Pipe Ranch facilities and grounds.

Registration deposit required: A $500 deposit is required to secure online registration/payment. Full payment is due eight weeks before the start of the program.

Shuttle service: Airport shuttle service to and from the Ranch on arrival and departure days is an additional $65. Shuttle service on days other than arrival/departure is $100.

Arrival and departure: Please plan to arrive at the Ranch no later than 5pm on the arrival day (Saturday, 22 June) of your retreat so you can join us for a tour of the grounds before dinner at 6:30pm and our group evening orientation following dinner. Please arrange to leave the Ranch in the morning or early afternoon of departure day (Saturday, 29 June). There are no classes or sessions on departure day. We request that our guests depart their lodging by 9am on departure day to give our staff sufficient time to prepare for incoming guests.

Off-campus lodging: Off-campus lodging during our retreat programs is discouraged, as we have experienced over the years that it affects group cohesion and continuity. Off-campus discount is $15 per day.
