“It is far better to live *your* life imperfectly than it is to live the life of another perfectly.”

WHAT SUSANNAH’S COLLEAGUES & STUDENTS SAY:
“Susannah will challenge you, but is always compassionate and approachable. Beyond being my teacher, she has been a spiritual guide for me, which has changed how I carry myself in this world. I would recommend Susannah as a teacher to anyone.”
~ Scott Tamblin, Nurse Practitioner
“I have been taught and coached by many people throughout my life as an athlete, and have had a handful of teachers as an aspiring yogini, and Susannah is one of the only people I continue to desire to sit with and learn from.”
~ Tianna Madison, 3x Olympic Gold Medalist
“I’ve had the true pleasure of working with Susannah Freedman in multiple ways: with her as my yoga teacher, a workshop facilitator, retreat leader, and coach. She has a unique ability to unite groups of diverse people and to create a safe space for learning, connection, and growth—as individuals and as a collective. She is fiercely loving and a true master of her craft. The way in which she intimately knows herself allows for others to do the same in her presence. I gravitated toward Susannah because she’s the realest, most grounded spiritual leader I know. Her humor and direct communication style really resonate, she “gets it”— the challenges of being a human of the world and also a spiritual being. I became a forever student because of her expertise on topics like yoga and astrology, her commitment to her practices and her capacity for other peoples’ humanity. I’ve gained invaluable tools from my work with her, which allow me to be a better coach, leader, teammate, and human. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with and learn about themselves and the world through Susannah will be forever enriched. I HIGHLY recommend sharing time and space with her.”
~ Whitney Cole, Co-Founder WorkWell

ABOUT SUSANNAH FREEDMAN:
Susannah Freedman teaches a rigorous style of Bhakti Vinyasa yoga, which includes beautiful chants, fluid sequencing, and nuggets of Yoga Philosophy that are both profound and accessible. She’s become somewhat notorious for her dry sense of humor, and her playlists are always add to the dynamics of the class rather than distract from the moment. Susannah’s sincerest goal is to offer a space in which people can find refuge inside their own bodies, and she firmly believes that as a global community we need to find a way to understand the concept that, as her teacher Stephanie Snyder says, “we are different but not separate.”
In 2010 Susannah completed her first Yoga Teacher Training, and in 2014 she received her Masters in Philosophy and Religion.
Susannah currently leads Yoga Teacher Trainings, retreats and workshops around the world, and also has a practice for private, public, and corporate coaching that helps groups and individuals live with and from a sense of purpose and joy.
