In our age of acceleration and unrelenting digital distraction, it is a simple joy to spend a week on retreat in the woods.

We propose three themes to guide our week together:

First: Active asana practice can be soft, introspective, and delicious, not just about constant movement.

Second: An embodied approach to the practices of pranayama and meditation reveals the deep pleasure of de-acceleration.

And third: Being at the Ranch feels easy.

Feathered Pipe - Restorative YogaIt’s easy to spend a week without getting into a car or consuming the news. When everyone else is going to class, it’s easy to practice asana every morning and receive the healing gift of Restorative poses, pranayama, and meditation every afternoon. When you’re laughing over a plate of delicious seasonal food at the picnic table next to the lake, it’s easy to feel nourished. And at night, when you walk to your cabin/yurt/tent, under the big Montana sky, it’s easy to see the stars and feel the vast mystery of our universe.

Join us for a week of introspection, de-acceleration, and ease. This workshop sells out every year. Space limited to 38 students. Reserve your spot with a deposit today.

*30 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program credit hours are available for this retreat.
