Yoga and Meditation
Retreat:
Cultivating the Lotus -
Yoga and Meditation
June 29 - July 5, 2008
at the Feathered Pipe Ranch
Price: Cost: $1095
Compassion works, Kindness matters. Buddhist mindfulness helps us understand the mind and Hatha Yoga helps us understand the body. Meditation trains the mind to be at ease and Yoga trains the body to be comfortable. These teachings help us let go of unnecessary holding patterns and relax deeply to live life more fully. The union of these teachings helps us find stillness, so we are able to see AND EXPERIENCE the wonderful potential and possibilities in life.
This week will be a celebration to experience experiencing, a self-exploration of the mind-body. The combination of Hatha Yoga and meditation, Ayurveda wisdom and science will heal your body and mind, while the wonderful organic food and gorgeous Montana skies will remind you of the eternal abundance of Nature. Let this be an unforgettable way to celebrate Independence Day!
Morning sessions will concentrate on a flowing asana practice, with afternoons dedicated to longer sitting meditation, philosophy discussion, pranayama and restorative yoga. Morning and afternoon session will each have 15-20 minutess of sitting meditation.
Wake up the Body, Quiet the Mind. Feathered Pipe will host a spectacular private fireworks show ON the lake! Celebrate with us at the Ranch!
