We are delighted to offer a workshop with Rebecca and Dean Lerner, who are known for their devoted study of the art and science of yoga and for their deep connection with their students. The dynamics and complimentary teaching of these two gifted teachers working together as a team in class and out has won rave reviews from the students.

Rebecca, a seasoned and respected teacher in the Iyengar community, is known for ability to guide the students deeply into the poses in a fresh meaningful way. Dean, past president of the Iyengar Yoga National Association, has a gentle yet dynamic manner combined with the perspective of a tireless search into the heart of yoga.

The teaching Rebecca and Dean present demands the best in each student in a context leavened with humor and heightened experience and framed within an integrated approach to the eight limbs of yoga.

Both Rebecca and Dean will arrive filled with inspiration and excitement and a wealth of knowledge they'll share with you.

Rebecca Lerner Certified Intermediate Junior III instructor. Rebecca Lerner is co-director of the Center for Well-Being in Lemont, Pennsylvania. She travels regularly to Pune and is a longtime student of Shri B.K.S and Geeta Iyengar. She has been practicing yoga since the mid-70s and teaching since 1980. Rebecca is known for her pleasant, light-hearted personality yet challenging and insightful teaching style. Share and enjoy the enthusiasm, inspiration, and expertise found in Rebecca's classes.

Dean Lerner, a longtime student of B.K.S. Iyengar, is past-President of the Iyengar Yoga Association of the United States and teaches nationally and internationally as well as in his hometown of State College, Pennsylvania.


Getting there:

Fly into the Cancun Airport, taxi or hotel van will take you to the port of Puerto Juarez where you will catch a high-speed ferry to the island of Isla Mujeres. All transfer details and costs will be sent to you upon registration. Transportation between the airport and the NaBalam costs between $22 and $70 one way (depending on whether you chose van or taxi).

Accommodations:

All rooms have air conditioning, private bathrooms, sitting areas and one king or two double beds.

Cost is per person, based on double occupancy. Price includes lodging, two full meals at the NaBalam daily, all instruction with the teachers, and Feathered Pipe staff in attendance.
