Join Jillian Pransky for a unique series of rejuvenating spring cleaning yoga classes designed to bloom open your body, mind and heart.
Each morning Jillian will lead you through an inspiring mindful vinyasa flow class, in the late afternoon you will enjoy a more meditative practice that will include restorative techniques, metta (loving-kindness) practice and deep relaxation. Come savor the perfect balance between deeply enhancing your yoga practice while indulging in an unforgettable Caribbean vacation.
Jillian is known as a nurturing guide, with an uplifting and playful spirit. Her teaching weaves together mindfulness techniques and breath based yoga flow, with an emphasis on bringing the practice of yoga and meditation into everyday life. Her work is greatly influenced by her extensive studies with Erich Schiffmann, Pema Chodron, and John Friend. She was initiated into the ISHTA lineage in 1998 by Mani and Alan Finger and is currently an Anusara Inspired Teacher. Jillian is co-director Bright Spirit Teacher Training, an instructor for Yoga Works Teacher Training and specializes in Restorative Yoga Training. Jillian s Relaxmore CD has garnered excellent reviews from many including Dr. Memhet Oz and it is used in the healing program at the Heart Institute, New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center. Logistics:
You'll fly into Cancun, Mexico on March 8, arrival day. Plan to arrive by 6:00 p.m. Depart March 14, book departing flight no earlier than 9:00 a.m. Taxi or hotel van will take you to the port of Puerto Juarez where you will catch a high-speed ferry to the island of Isla Mujeres. All transfer details and costs will be sent to you upon registration. Transportation between the airport and the NaBalam costs between $22 and $70 one way (depending on whether you chose van or taxi).
Isla Mujeres, a small tranquil island, is complete with white sand beaches, crystal blue-green Caribbean water, golden sunshine, wonderful people and a low key Mexican village to explore. The NaBalam Beach Hotel sits amidst lush tropical gardens, on the most beautiful beach on the island. Between yoga sessions you are invited to play hard or relax deeply; stay cool and lazy in a hammock, sun bathe, and scuba dive or stroll the town and explore fabulous shops and restaurants.
One day add-on: Stay an extra day -Friday, March 14 and you'll have time to visit nearby Tulum, Xcaret, Cozumel, or Chichén-Itzá. Cost: $260 per double room only, no meals or tours included.

Cost:
Cost is per person, based on double occupancy. Price includes lodging, two full meals at the NaBalam daily, all instruction with the teachers, and Feathered Pipe staff in attendance.
