Feathered Pipe Scholarship Fund

Life is to Learn & Laugh
A large number of today's leaders within the Yoga, Meditation and Health & Wellness communities have come through our doors at one time or another, with many getting their start right here at the Ranch through our scholarship fund. The objective of the fund is to assist those who have the intention and heart but may not have the financial ability to afford participating in a Feathered Pipe retreat. We believe the best way to create the sustainable and cooperative communities we dream of starts with the individual. The scholarship fund goes right to the heart of our philosophy and mission.
The Feathered Pipe Scholarship Fund is supported by the proceeds of our annual "Everybody's a Winner" Raffle (Visit New Day's Dawning: 2011 Fall Fundraising Campaign for details). As well direct donations are always welcomed. Please also consider donating your Frequent Flyer Miles to assist with travel expenses.
Download our Feathered Pipe Scholarship Application Form here. Please submit it as soon as possible as funds are limited. A recommendation from your yoga teacher will help us evaluate your application. In order to help as many students as possible we limit our scholarships to $500 per person. Please contact us with any questions.

"As a recipient of several Feathered Pipe Ranch scholarships I have been able to support my educational needs and my personal healing and recharging. To be able to attend the ranch's wonderful offerings has been a blessing to me and all my students at Dancing Lotus Center in Helena. The Feathered Pipe brings in some of the best Yoga and Spiritual teachers. Helena even benefits from the Ranch's teachers during the summer months as several of the season's Yoga teachers offer a fundraising Yoga class at the Dancing Lotus Center, all monies go to the Scholarship program so we can all benefit. I even studied my Profession there as a body worker. The Ranch hosted Tom Meyers of KMI, a structural body work program, right here in Helena Montana!
This community of healing is a powerful base not only to Helena but to many from all over the world. If one can imagine a place where they step out of time and let each day bring what it will and go to bed at night feeling the ease of "yes this is what I needed" and knowing that the week at the Ranch has changed their lives forever in a positive way.
My last week in 2010 was one of those. Yoga with Judith Lasater and restorative yoga every afternoon was the life-changing reinforcement of how much we all try to do in our lives and lose site of the pleasure in just being! Practicing Yoga, walking in the woods, eating amazing healthy food, kind people, returning friends and the time to be. Oh and not to mention the Teachers that the Ranch brings to Helena.
I hope you too can experience the Feathered Pipe."

"Being at the Feathered Pipe Ranch over the past ten years has been such a healing place for me because of my diagnoses of endometrial cancer. My finances were such that I couldn’t afford coming to the ranch and I am so grateful for the Feathered Pipe Foundation’s scholarship program. My time at the Ranch was an integral part of being cancer-free for ten years. Again, I thank the the Foundation for the gift given so I could be at the Ranch."

"My experience at the Feathered Pipe Ranch with Angela Farmer is one of the highlights of my entire life. I want to thank you again for the partial scholarship that was gifted me, making it possible. You are surrounded with the nurturing of nature. Thank you for all your far-reaching love and energy."

"When my financial situation was precarious, I was delighted to receive a scholarship for study at Feathered Pipe Ranch. As a yoga instructor, it's important that I continue to be a student and continue to have the training which supports my career and my efforts in carrying on the tradition I hold dear in my heart.
"The opportunity to study with my teacher and participate in a community of yogis was an experience I continue to hold with deep gratitude. Thank you to the Ranch for making this possible."
