Richard Miller, Ph.D
Richard Miller, Ph.D, author of Yoga Nidra: The Meditative Heart of Yoga, is a contemporary spiritual teacher, honored by Yoga Journal and featured in American Yoga and Will Yoga and Meditation Really Change My Life? He is president of the Center of Timeless Being, past president and founding member of the Institute for Spirituality and Psychology, and co-founder of The International Association of Yoga Therapy.
Richard teaches in the lineage of his spiritual mentor, Jean Klein, and has devoted his life to integrating the nondual wisdom teachings of Yoga, Tantra, Advaita, Taoism and Buddhism. Richard is currently consulting on research projects studying the healing effect of Integrative Restoration - iRest®, his adaptation for Westerners of the ancient practice of yoga nidra, with diverse populations including active duty soldiers and veterans suffering post-traumatic stress disorder, the homeless, children and people experiencing insomnia and chronic pain. Richard leads meditation retreats and trainings throughout North America with a focus on enlightened living in daily life.
