The Feathered Pipe Experience

Dear Ones:

We are winding up another season at the Feathered Pipe Ranch.  So many exciting, eventful, and huge shifts have been evident this year.  First of all, the Ranch itself is beautifully lush this season because we've had plenty of rain.  It is the beginning of September and it is as green as Ireland here - creeks and rivers are full, the energy of the ranch is strong and nurturing - everyone is feeling its magic.  India’s health is good and she has stepped into the roll of founding visionary; our website is great and improving, and - most importantly – our former board president, JV Bennett and his wife, Melissa McNair, now share the executive directorship.  A new day is dawning at Feathered Pipe.

The Feathered Pipe Ranch holds an extremely special place in so many hearts.  Thousands of lives and hearts have been forever changed by their experiences here.  Many have gone on to change the world in so many positive, life-affirming ways - teaching, starting yoga studios, traveling, and building more compassionate communities.  People leave here every week, having experienced the deep inner stillness that stokes their most authentic and loving creativity and good will, and go into the world with the love and care the world so obviously craves.  We are so honored to be a catalyst for so much good.

We are committed to continuing and reinvigorating the mission of the Feathered Pipe Foundation. Everyone at the Ranch continues to embrace and stay focused on the goal of creating the space for people to enrich mind, body, and spirit.  Our workshops provide the resources that sustain and build our humanitarian efforts here in Montana and around the world.  But we need your help.

2011 Fall Fundraising Campaign

Although we have trimmed expenses sufficiently to make progress against two extremely challenging years, we need to raise money this fall to carry us through the impact of low registration numbers.  Your support will allow us to continue to operate and provide seed money to:

Power of Unity

• continue to offer the best in yoga instruction and innovative programs for transformation and growth
• provide scholarships to Feathered Pipe Programs.

In addition, our ability to serve others in need will be supported as we continue to:

• offer healing workshops for veterans with PTSD
• provide education for the community of AIDS sufferers we have nurtured for 25 years
• support more yoga teacher trainings so that more people can make their living teaching
• assist the Tibetan Children's Education Fund (TCEF)
• help India’s United Nations work in supporting and serving women around the world

This year we are offering the following gifts in appreciation of your contribution:

• For a $100 Donation, we'll put a raffle ticket in the hat for you.  You have a great chance of winning:  a one in twenty-five tickets wins either a free or half-price workshop.

• A $150 Donation, gets you a raffle ticket PLUS we’ll send your choice of a copy of the Feathered Pipe Cookbook OR John Feron's “Wildflowers at the Feathered Pipe Ranch”

• For a $250 Donation, we'll send you the DVD of India's "Story of the Feathered Pipe Ranch and how the Elk Came to Be on the Mantle," produced by Erich Schiffmann, AND a raffle ticket

• For a $500 Donation, you get a raffle ticket, the DVD of India’s story, AND a cookbook AND the flower book AND a Feathered Pipe T-Shirt

• For $1000 Donation, all the above prizes PLUS a massage by one of the Ranch bodyworkers while you’re at the Ranch OR a 5% discount on any Feathered Pipe Ranch Program.
