Michael Fraser, CMT

Michael Fraser, CMT is a shaman, bodyworker and energy healer. He is known for his very thorough "Deep-Process Transformational Healing Sessions" that combine cutting edge bodywork with traditional shamanic and energy techniques to help heal chronic and "stuck" health challenges.

He practices internationally in cooperation with medical doctors, psychotherapists, yoga teachers and other health professionals who trust him to bring a powerful energy healing component to their clients. His clients are especially grateful for the immensely practical quality of his insights and counsel. Long-time clients, many of whom travel great distances to give themselves the gift of a session with Michael, praise his powerful intuition in diving deeply and precisely into the places in their hearts and bodies where openings are most needed - always with love, always with joy, always with compassion.

His goal is to aid people in awakening to their fullest health and peace.

Incorporating multiple modalities as appropriate for each individual, a session with Michael may include a combination of deep energy process work, craniosacral therapy, acupressure, traditional Swedish and Esalen-style massage, and more.

Michael's work goes far beyond technique, however, steeped as it is in the healing power of Presence and Listening to support the unwinding and releasing of deeply held tension in the body and psyche -- opening to, and aiding the integration of, the inherent wisdom and mystery that comes with such releases.

Michael has practiced at the Feathered Pipe for nearly 15 years and developed and refined his technique at the Ranch. He considers Feathered Pipe to be a spiritual home and loves practicing here as it is ideally suited for deep healing work.

Renee Frances Conn

Renee Frances Conn grew up two hours southwest of the Feathered Pipe Ranch in the heart of the Flint Creek Valley. Her work reflects the free spirit of “Big Sky Country” and the intuition of the land.

Renee has been practicing the art and science of touch therapy for over 15 years. Fantastic teachers and clients have finely tuned her work.

She offers a No-Nonsense approach to Bodywork. By clearing stuck, stagnant energy -  the essence of physical pain and emotional imbalance - clients experience energized relaxation.

Her work is deep but gentle, working with both the muscles and energy lines of the body. She provides a nurturing presence to support your process of unwinding to the core.

About her practice, Renee says, "My job is to support you on your healing path. I offer a deep but gentle touch and nurturing presence. When designing your sessions: First, I listen to your mind’s experience with your body. You tell me what you want and need from the session. Next, I listen with my hands to the wisdom of your body itself. Finally, I listen to my intuition. which guides me in tailoring each session for your individual needs.

Over the years I’ve come to understand the importance of client participation in letting go stress and tension. Focused breathing is essential to this end. Your time on the table can release long held tension and pain, especially when we work as a team. During your sessions I will occasionally coach you to return to your awareness of the breath and release tension from your body.

In the past few years, spontaneous vocal toning has become part of my sessions. I find that it helps disperse tension from all the energy fields. If you join me in the song you will experience relief all the way into your core. Sometimes the song erupts into tear soaking laughter for both of us - which I do believe, is considered the best medicine.”

Along with remarkable bodywork, Renee’s work is informed by Qi Gong & Chinese medical philosophy, improvisational dance/theater, and belly dance. As appropriate, she offers tips and tools that help keep the healing energy flowing between sessions.

Renee’s techniques include: Tui-Na—Chinese Medical Massage; Deep Tissue & Point Work; Swedish with an Ayurvedic twist; Stretching and energizing Thai; and Seitai Shiatsu.
