Just eight miles from the bustle of Cancun, and the eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, lies the quaint resort island of Isla Mujeres. Inhabited since pre-Colombian times, Isla Mujeres still retains the culture of the Mayan people, past and present. White sand beaches boarder turquoise waters as colorful fishing boats dot the horizon.

The Hotel NaBalam, located on the North end of the island, sits on the most beautiful beach of the surrounding area. Small and unassuming, the hotel features lush tropical gardens, comfortable rooms, excellent regional cuisine and friendly staff. A large outdoor palapa provides our meeting and yoga space.

Getting there:

Fly into the Cancun Airport, taxi or hotel van will take you to the port of Puerto Juarez where you will catch a high-speed ferry to the island of Isla Mujeres. All transfer details and costs will be sent to you upon registration. Transportation between the airport and the NaBalam costs between $22 and $70 one way (depending on whether you chose van or taxi).

Accommodations:

All rooms have air conditioning, private bathrooms, sitting areas and one king or two double beds.

Cost:

Cost is per person, based on double occupancy. Price includes lodging, two full meals at the NaBalam daily, all instruction with the teachers, and Feathered Pipe staff in attendance.
