The world is deeply in need of healing, and according to the Dalai Lama, “The world will be saved by the Western woman.” As the power of the feminine rises and the puddles of empowered women begin to coalesce, the seeds for saving the world are planted. But how can we fuel the feminine fire and heal the world if we don’t first heal ourselves?

Communion & Retreat

Are you a female visionary who dreams of spreading your gifts and healing the world? Are you on a mission to share your vision- by writing a book, teaching your vision in workshops or public speaking venues, starting or growing a nonprofit, launching or expanding a business, or offering your healing services to the world? At times, do you feel the loneliness of leadership- as if you’re the only one out there struggling to change the world? Do you sometimes feel thwarted in your visionary efforts because of lack of funding, resistance to your visionary ideas, creative blockages, or inadequate support? Does it juice you up to envision five days in communion with fellow visionary women committed to fanning our feminine flames, recharging, sharing wisdom and ideas, healing from the core, and reclaiming your sovereign self?

Then this workshop is for you.  In this workshop, we will commit to helping each other heal so we can save the world, and when women gather together with the intention of healing, sparks fly.  Every. Single. Time.

As a physician who left her clinical practice in order to pursue a radical vision- to feminize medicine and reunite spirituality with health care- Dr. Lissa Rankin knows the visionary’s journey intimately and uses her expertise to help other female visionaries navigate what can often be a lonely and circuitous path.  Join her on a journey of self-discovery, as you rekindle the flame of your vision, bond in sisterhood, celebrate the Divine Feminine, dissociate from the fears that may be holding you back, diagnose what may be in need of healing in your life, and call upon the healing wisdom and guidance of your “Inner Pilot Light,” Divine Source, and your fellow visionaries.

During the workshop, we will write, make art, go on a shamanic journey, do yoga, gather for an optional (and safe) sweat lodge experience, witness each others’ stories, meditate, set intentions for fearless dreams we wish to manifest in life and in work, experience a rebirth ceremony in a spiritual cave, celebrate the visionary goddess within each of us, face our shadows, and laugh our way through dance breaks.

When you are clear on your vision, fueled by the collective intentions of fellow female visionaries, you will naturally be more successful in achieving your vision and living out your life purpose.  After completing the workshop, you will not only achieve deep insight into your own healing journey, gain clarity about your calling to service, learn tools to help you become more successful in your pursuit of your vision, and feel reinvigorated about following your dreams.  You will also bond with other visionaries who will lift you up, inspire you, mentor you, and help you keep the workshop high long after we leave Montana. Lissa Rankin, MD

Lissa Rankin, MD is an OB/GYN physician visionary, an author, a speaker, a consultant to visionaries, a professional artist, and founder of the women’s health and wellness community OwningPink.com.  Discouraged by the broken, patriarchal health care system, she left her medical practice in 2007 only to realize that you can quit your job, but you can’t quit your calling. This epiphany launched her on a journey of discovery that led her to become a leader in the field of mind/body medicine, which she blogs about at OwningPink.com and is writing about in her third book, Mind Over Medicine: Scientific Proof You Can Heal Yourself (Hay House, 2013). She teaches self-healing to both patients and visionaries who seek to live more vital, whole, balanced lives. She is leading a revolution to feminize how health care is received and delivered by encouraging collaboration, fostering self-healing, reconnecting health care and spirituality, empowering patients to tap into the mind’s power to heal the body, and encouraging women not to settle for being merely well, but to strive for living vital, joyful, authentic lives full of “mojo.”  When not spreading the word, she chills out, paints, does yoga, and hikes in Marin County, California with her husband and daughter. In this workshop, Lissa will be assisted by spiritual counselor, intuitive healer, and raw foods expert Tricia Barrett.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

Registration Process: Payment of $300 deposit is required to initiate your registration. This deposit will be NON-REFUNDABLE once registration is complete.

Upon initial registration the Feathered Pipe administrative staff will contact your to confirm receiving your registration and will assist with choosing your accommodation and transportation requirements.

Full payment is due at the time of completing your registration by reserving your accommodation. Payment options may be arranged if necessary. All final payments are due 8 weeks before the arrival date of your retreat.

Program Tuition: Includes cost all instruction and program activities. Upon registration Feathered Pipe office staff will contact you to reserve your preferred accommodation choice.

Accommodation & Amenities: Includes cost of lodging, meals and general use of the bathhouse, grounds and Feathered Pipe Ranch facilities. Please visit Accommodations & Amenities page to see the many options and costing for lodging.

Additional Services: Horseback Riding, Massage/Bodywork, Laundry, Airport Shuttle Service are available at an additional cost. We accept checks, money orders, and most major credit cards.

Cancellation Policy: For cancellations before 8 weeks out, we will refund all of your payments except the $300 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. For cancellations from 8 to 2 weeks out THERE IS NO REFUND; however we will credit any payments over the deposit to another workshop in 2012. For cancellation within 2 weeks of the start of your workshop there is NO REFUND AND NO CREDIT; however workshop may be transferred to another person.

Airport Service: We recommend the Helena Regional Airport for those coming to retreats and programs at the Feathered Pipe Ranch. Airlines fly in from all parts of the country on a regular basis, with Delta serving those flying from the East Coast, Midwest, Mountain and West Coast via their Mineapolis and Salt Lake City hub, United serving passengers from all over via the Denver hub, and Alaskan Airlines serving West Coast flyers via their Seattle hub.

If you are coming for a Blacktail Ranch Retreat, we suggest that you arrive either at the Helena Regional Airport or Great Falls International Airport as the Blacktail is about an hours drive from either airport.

Shuttle Service: For those coming for a Feathered Pipe Ranch retreat, we meet flights at the Helena Regional Airport, offering shuttle service for $65 roundtrip. For those coming to a Blacktail Ranch Retreat, we offer roundtrip shuttle service from Helena Regional and Great Falls International Airports for an additional charge of $100.

Our driver will meet you at baggage claim wearing a Feathered Pipe t-shirt. We are now grouping some pick-ups, so you may have a 30 minute wait. Please contact the office at: kim@featheredpipe.com or call (406) 442-8196 to arrange and confirm pick-up.

Early Arrivals: If you are not able to arrive by 4 pm on the listed arrival day we encourage you to come in a day early and stay the night in Helena. We are happy to pick you up at your hotel on arrival day.

Scholarships:Partial scholarships are available for those needing financial assistance, ranging from $250-500. Recipients assist Ranch staff in free time and during programs.
