I’m thrilled to be spending my 10^th summer at the Feathered Pipe Ranch, sharing with you in a week of deep community and connection, a whole lot of fun, laughter, and creative yoga practice - both on and off the mat. We’ll open our hearts, relax into who we are, and help give each other the courage to follow our inner guidance and be ourselves fully, without limit. The result is healing, energizing, and deeply transformative.

Our sessions together will be a unique blend of Freedom Style Yoga, an intuitive, guided-from-within practice of exploring options and choices in the poses; and Bhakti Yoga, the devotional yoga of the heart, which uses our emotions and our longing for The Divine as a pathway to the connection we yearn to find.

Feathered Pipe Main Room

Each session will have a slightly different flavor and will incorporate various elements to help us dive straight into the center of ourselves: meditation, chanting, creative asana and sequencing, storytelling and discussions, and Bhakti Moves - a dance-based practice that I’ve created. Bhakti Moves is a fusion of my deepest passions: Freedom Style Yoga, dance, meditation, rhythm, music, and my exuberance for the beauty and magic of life.

The Feathered Pipe Ranch is the most soul-nourishing place on earth for me. I invite you to join me as we each reclaim our own voice, celebrate our unique essence, and honor our own story and journey. I look forward to seeing you.

Carie Garrett

Carie Garrett is a senior teacher of Los Angeles-based yoga master Erich Schiffmann. Since 2001 she has worked extensively with Schiffmann as his apprentice and teaching assistant at workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings throughout the country. Carie teaches a fluid and creative practice based on inner listening, self-trust, and intuitive alignment. Her unique teaching style weaves together a love of innovative movement from a dance background and a strong knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology from 25 years as a group exercise instructor. Her classes are spontaneous, fun, outside the box, and reflect her passion and real-life experiences of living the yoga in the world on a daily basis. REGISTRATION DETAILS:

Registration Deposit: A $300 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to hold your space. Final payment is due 8 weeks before the arrival date of your retreat.

Program Tuition: Includes cost all instruction and program activities. Upon registration Feathered Pipe office staff will contact you to reserve your preferred accommodation choice.

Accommodation & Amenities: Includes cost of lodging, meals and general use of the bathhouse, grounds and Feathered Pipe Ranch facilities. Please visit Accommodations & Amenities page to see the many options and costing for lodging.

Additional Services: Horseback Riding, Massage/Bodywork, Laundry, Airport Shuttle Service are available at an additional cost. We accept checks, money orders, and most major credit cards.

Cancellation Policy: For cancellations before 8 weeks out, we will refund all of your payments except the deposit. For cancellations from 8 to 2 weeks out THERE IS NO REFUND; however we will credit any payments over the deposit to another workshop in 2012. For cancellation within 2 weeks of the start of your workshop there is NO REFUND AND NO CREDIT; however workshop may be transferred to another person.

Scholarships:Partial scholarships are available for those needing financial assistance, ranging from $250-500. Recipients assist Ranch staff in free time and during programs. Discounts: Discounts must be in effect at the time of registration and may not be combined. All Discount excludes $25 Montana Tax.

Registration Note: Upon registration and placement of retreat deposit the Feathered Pipe administrative staff will contact your to confirm receiving your registration and will assist with defining your accommodation and transportation requirements.
