Sherri & Michele will share their wisdom and love of yoga, skillfully guiding you through daily practices that offer the profound life-changing principles of yoga, health, and fitness in a simple way that is accessible to everyone.

For women only, this well-balanced program will give you time to enjoy the beauty of nature, ocean-side and jungle walks, time for reflection, art and writing, swimming and communion with others, as well as time for rest, relaxation and massage. Sessions will be offered with longer time for practice which will include a rich variety of breath-based asana (postures) and pranayama (breathwork) to deepen and restore your link to the earth and to your life. This retreat will give you plenty of time to rest, restore, and strengthen, with the goal of supporting and nurturing your health and well-being in body, mind and spirit.

Sherri Baptiste

Sherri Baptiste, ERYT 500 is an inspirational yoga teacher at the forefront of training in America. Founder of Baptiste Power of Yoga, she offers classes, workshops, retreats and teacher training. Her retreats and teacher training programs provide an empowering, peaceful oasis in a hurried world, a place where students can find within themselves the tools and knowledge to support and maintain a happier, healthier and more spiritual lifestyle.

Sherri was born into a rich heritage and family of pioneering yoga teachers, her parents Magaña and Walt Baptiste, who established yoga on the West Coast in the mid-1950s. Sherri has been teaching yoga since her her teens and is the founder of Baptiste Power of Yoga, and her yoga teacher-training program is recognized by Yoga Alliance. Michele Hébert

Michele Hébert, E-RYT 500 is a master yoga and meditation teacher, natural nutritionist, and author of the newly released book The Tenth Door: An Adventure Through the Jungles of Enlightenment. She is a senior teacher in the Walt Baptiste Method of Raja Yoga, who personally conferred upon her the sacred title Raja Yoga Guide. Michele was also initiated into the Himalayan Yoga Tradition by Swami Veda Bharati of India and into Tibetan Buddhism by H.H. the Dalai Lama.

Michele has been a global pioneer in the health and fitness industry in the area of mind-body-spirit integration for 25 years. She has been teaching the Walt Baptiste Method of Yoga for 35 years and is a former competitive bodybuilder. She applies her unique educational background in Raja Yoga, health & fitness, and nutrition to her consciousness based teachings and has brought these teachings to the varied fields of medicine, education, yoga, as well as the corporate and spa industries, working with the leaders in each field. Accommodations:

All cabañas have private bathrooms, are without electricity but have kerosene lighting and hot running water. The price listed is per person, based on dorm/ double/triple occupancy and includes meals, all instruction and the 17% Mexico Hotel Tax. Please inquire for single availability and cost.

Travel:

Haramara Spa Treatment

Fly into Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, before 6 PM on the first listed day of the retreat. Haramara offers round-trip shuttle service for $100, or you can take a taxi/local bus from the airport. Airport transfer times will be arranged closer to the start of the retreat. Depart Puerto Vallarta on the last day listed (no classes that day). Check out time from your Haramara room is 10:00 AM, but you may store your luggage and stay later.
